DUSTY looking good isn’t always easy…
A celebration of an icon
Written & compiled by Paul Howes
To mark the 50th anniversary of Dusty’s solo career comes this lavishly-illustrated soft cover book focusing on Dusty and her life as viewed through the lens.
Dusty: Looking Good Isn’t Always Easy… gathers together over 600 photographs, from Dusty’s childhood on the beach at Bognor to her very last performance on TV in the mid-1990s. The book contains hundreds of hitherto unpublished shots as well as many others that have remained unseen for years.
And that’s not all. Among its pages are many rare and never-before-seen treasures — Dusty’s school reports, good luck telegrams for her 1965 Royal Variety performance, music press clippings and photographs containing Dusty’s handwritten comments, personal snaps, anecdotes and much, much more.
