RICHARD HARRIS
My Boy
RICHARD HARRIS was a rare talent whose achievements extended to stage, screen, records and even poetry.
In 1971, he recorded MY BOY, an album which charts the life of a man from disillusionment, through love, marriage and divorce, and then back to disillusionment again. The album was Richard Harris’s own concept and was a self-analysis of his own life. Contributing to the album were some of the best writers and musicians of the day: Jimmy Webb, Johnny Harris, Bill Martin, Phil Coulter and John Bromley.
MY BOY is regarded among many Richard Harris fans as his best album and this release sees its long-awaited UK debut on CD.
The album has been re-mastered from the original master tapes using 24 BIT SBM to provide the best possible audio experience
