‘DUSTY IN DEUTSCHLAND’ DVD

In November 1969 Dusty flew to Cologne to record a TV special for West German Television. The show was produced by Bob Rooyens and was later revamped to become the official German entry for the 1970 Montreux TV Festival. The special, featuring guest appearances by Procol Harum and The Dave Pike Set, was never broadcast in the UK or USA, and has never been commercially available. It is now being issued for the first time – and on DVD – by Zone Records, and as an extra bonus Dusty’s performance from the ‘Gala-Abend der Schallplatte (Berlin) 1969’ earlier in the year is included. Both shows are in colour and the DVD contains a full colour 4-page booklet containing rehearsal photos from the TV special.
